1 Min Read

President Muhammadu Buhari will today swear-in the 36 ministers-designates approved recently by the Senate.

This is just as he is poised to chair the maiden Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting expected to commence after their inauguration.

Barring last minute change of plans, the President is expected to allocate portfolios to the substantive ministers.

Although there have been speculations as to how many ministers would be allotted substantive portfolios, Buhari has made it clear severally that not all the 36 ministers would be accorded substantive status.

Those expected to attend the inauguration ceremony include the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, Speaker of the House if Representatives, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara,Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Head of Service and other senior government functionaries.

In other to ensure orderliness, the President had earlier instructed that the ministers are allowed to bring two guests each with them to attend the ceremony.
