Shehu Sani, the Senator representing Kaduna Central has claimed that Governors have taken over the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and that President Muhammadu Buhari is helpless about it.
The lawmaker stated this on Thursday while appearing on Channels Television’s programme, Politics Today.
Sani explained that the Reformed All Progressives Congress (R-APC) was formed because the party did not treat the new Peoples Democratic Party (nPDP) members fairly.
“We cannot continue to be in that party that has failed to treat us fairly and objectively.

“It appears that the governors have taken grip of the party and the president seem helpless.
“I come from a state where the governor has no respect for the party hierarchy and no respect for the president,” he said.
