President Muhammadu Buhari and governors of the All Progressives Congress have postponed the National Executive Council meeting of the party indefinitely.
It was gathered that the decision to postpone the meeting was made after a brief meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Monday.
The chairman of the Progressives Governors Forum, Mr Abubakar Atiku-Bagudu who addressed the press shortly after the meeting urged the President to support the decision to postpone the meeting until the issues within the party are resolved.

The governors of the Progressives Governors Forum in attendance include the Ogun State Governor, Osun, Ondo, Kwara, Kano, Nasarawa, Edo, Kebbi, Jigawa, Gombe, Borno, Niger, Plateau, Lagos, Katsina, and Imo States were also present.
Governors of Kaduna, Ekiti, Yobe, and Kogi States were absent from the meeting.
