Presidency has reacted to Femi Fani-Kayode’s squabble with Daily Trust Journalist, Eyo Charles.
The Herald reported that former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode lambasted Eyo Journalist during a media conference.
Eyo Charles had asked FFK about the source of the funds with which he was touring different southern states.
Feeling slighted by the question, Fani-Kayode lambasted the Journalist calling him stupid among other insults.
Reacting to the incident, Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on New Media has schooled the former Minister on the ethics guiding Journalism.
The Presidential side tweeted: “In journalism 101, you learn that there is no stupid question, only stupid answers. A former Nigerian minister just brought home this lesson.”
Publishers of Daily Trust newspaper have notified the Police to hold FFK responsible should any harm befall their Reporter.
It would be noted that the former Aviation Minister has sought the forgiveness of the news agency and their Journalist.
