A policewoman in the UK identified simply as Stephanie, 32, got married to a man she just met.
Luckily for her, the groom, Ben, 36, was a millionaire, a fact only known to Stephanie after the marriage.
The couple’s incredible story was featured on a programme, Married at First Sight, hosted on a UK TV channel, Channel 4.
The episode aired on Thursday, February 15.
Ben, a quantity surveyor, had been in a relationship for 12 years before his partner left him and ran away to Greece.
He met Stephanie shortly afterwards and they got married.
It was learnt that Ben had tattooed his wedding date on his body before he even met Stephanie.
