Barely two weeks after arresting two persons in connection with ritual killings, the Osun State Police have burst a ritualists’ den in the state.
It was also gathered that one Lamidi Adeoye and his three accomplices who specialized in using human parts for ritual and selling to ritualists, were arrested in connection with the crime.
Also, the raid took the police to a compound where severed human parts were found followed with the arrest of three persons.
In his reaction to the incident, the traditional ruler of the town, the Olufi of Gbongan, Oba Adetoyese Oyeniyi, called on the police to make swift investigations and prosecution of the suspects.
The Commissioner of Police in the State, Mr. Fimihan Adeoye further revealed that the command had intensified efforts at halting ritual killings, kidnapping while assuring that investigation was underway to unravel others connected with the crime.
Recall that a ritualists’ criminal den was earlier this week discovered in Ondo State.
