Recall that the Herald reported on Wednesday that Justice Senchi Z. Danlami of an FCT High Court ordered the suspension of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole as APC chairman.
The judge gave the order on Wednesday in Jabi following an application by one Oluwale Afolabi seeking an interlocutory injunction asking the court to suspend Oshiomhole, having been suspended as a member of the APC by the party in Edo state.
Joining the National Chairman and APC as first and second respondents, the appellant contended that since his suspension by the party, the party boss has not challenged it in the court.
The appellant further argued that since the suspension temporarily deprived him of the privileges of being an APC member, Oshiomhole could not continue to act as national chairman of the party.
A Federal High Court sitting in Kano has voided the suspension of APC National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.
Justice Lewis Allagoa set aside Wednesday’s interim injunction of Justice Danlami Senchi of the FCT High Court which suspended the party boss, Channels TV reported.
After Wednesday’s ruling, Oshiomhole immediately approached the Court of Appeal, Abuja Division, praying it to set aside the interim injunction.
In Thursday’s ruling, Justice Allagoa ordered the Nigeria Police Force and the Department of State Service (DSS) to provide security for Oshiomhole to resume in his office.
