Police operatives in Edo state have apprehended six male suspects who assaulted on a 24-year-old lady shown in a video which recently went viral.
The victim was reportedly tortured over a missing handset. The men paraded her naked and physically assaulted her.
The Force spokesman, Frank Mba, disclosed on Thursday that those arrested include the owner of the phone, Otoghile Joel; Lucky Igbinovia (alias One Man Squad) in whose house the young woman was tortured); Manager of Lafun Hotel, Edobor Osemwengi; Kingsley Iyamu; Gregg Eweka and Friday Omorogbe.

Mba noted that the suspects were arrested following acting Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu’s directive to the Edo State Police Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu.
“The Edo State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, will be providing more details as the investigation progresses,” the spokesman said.
