Bauchi Police Command said on Friday that it had arrested five students of Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi over alleged involvement in cultism.
DSP Haruna Mohammed, Spokesman of the command, DSP Haruna Mohammed said in a statement in Bauchi that the suspects were arrested on May 12 by police detectives attached to the command.
He said that the suspects (names withheld) were aged from 20 to 29, adding that some weapons were recovered from them.
Mohammed said that weapons recovered from them during preliminary investigation were one locally made Revolver Pistol, live ammunition and one sharp knife.
He said that the suspects would be charged to court after completion of investigation. (NAN)
