Nigerian rapper, Phyno, has responded to backlash over featuring convicted felon, Hushpuppi, on his new album “Full Time Job.”
The controversy surrounds Hushpuppi’s appearance on the track “Nwoke Esike,” where he shares motivational quotes. Many fans took to social media to express disappointment and confusion over the collaboration.
One critic, @Temmyt_Official, questioned Phyno’s decision, prompting the rapper to respond. Phyno tweeted, “Go and sleep if u no sabi game!!! If Young Thug or El Chapo talk for song now you go rush first play am…ngwere isi red!”
This collaboration marks a reconciliation between Phyno and Hushpuppi, following their 2017 online feud. At the time, Phyno advised Hushpuppi to stop flaunting his lavish lifestyle, after Hushpuppi accused Phyno and Ice Prince of wearing fake watches.
