The Vice President Yemi Osinbajo was appointed to represent Nigeria at the 8th summit of African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States.
He arrived in Papau New Guinea yesterday night.
He was met by a welcoming party that consisted of Papau New Guinea’s Minister for Public Service, Puka Temu and acting Nigerian High Commissioner to Australia, Cecilia Yahaya.
The summit is to hold from the 30th of May to the 1st of June and aims to discuss the future of the ACP Group as a “revitalised cohesive force advocating the interests of its member states in the international arena.”
