The traditional ruler of Ile- Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Ogunwusi, led a group of other traditional worshippers to celebrate the Oshoosi Festival in the town. It is an annual event which is primarily celebrated in honor of the Oshoosi diety, the harbinger of purity, philanthropy, and sanity in the ancestral history of the Yoruba People.
