Toke Makinwa launched her book, titled ‘On Becoming”, yesterday in Lagos. The event, which was full of glitz and glamour was well attended by celebrities.
‘On Becoming’ is a biographical revelation of much that had happened to her in the past year, and how she has grown from that point. The book contains details of her tumultuous relationship with ex husband, Maje Ayida.
Toke Makinwa sold all the books she brought to the launch. She rocked a gorgeous strapless white dress According to a guest, tears flowed freely when Toke Makinwa rose to speak at the event.
Prominent personalities that attended the event include Nikky Olaoye, Tosin Bucknor, Timi Dakolo, Tania Omotayo, Waje, Debola Lagos, Gbemi Olateru, Kate Henshaw, Abike Dabiri, and Mo Abudu.
