Nigeria’s former president, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, has returned to the United Kingdom.
On Wednesday, June 1, the former president was welcomed by his friends, supporters and well-wishers when he arrived Nigeria.
Before he arrived Nigeria, Jonathan was reportedly on exile in Ivory Coast, but the president has since debunked such claims.
Goodluck Jonathan recently held a meeting with the current President, Muhammadu Buhari, with both parties discussing ways to end the current crisis in the Niger Delta region.
The president has since returned to the United Kingdom where he is scheduled to give a number of talks and interviews.
He was spotted with his ex-special assistant on new media, Reno Omokri, at Heathrow airport.
