Ghana celebrated their 60th year of independence on the 6th of March, 2017. The parade ceremony was celebrated at the independence square.
Characterizing the celebrations were the traditional march pasts by school children, security personnel and other groups; civilian, military and paramilitary.
Of particular note are the parades of the female security personnel who were looking impressively crisp and beautiful in their synchronized marching across the square.
