Ese Oruru, the 14 year old who was abducted by Dahiru Yunusa and converted to Islam put to bed yesterday.
She delivered a healthy baby girl in Bayelsa State. The wife of the governor Rachel Dickson was on hand to welcome the baby to the world and carry her.
The father of the child is facing trial for statutory rape.
The baby was born without complications and the first photos are now available for viewing.
