As part of activities lined up for his one-week foreign trip to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Qatar, President Muhammadu Buhari today visited the Islamic second holy city of Medina, where he prayed for the peace, security and prosperity of the nation.
Before the visit to Medina, President Muhammadu Buhari had engaged in talks with the Saudi monarch, King Salman Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud, where he commended the Saudi government for its efforts to stem the tide of terrorism in the Middle East, Africa and the world.
After the meeting with the king, President Buhari had also engaged the Nigerian community in Saudi Arabia and assured them that his government would deal decisively with the individuals that distorted the 2016 budget.
