A week after his ‘special press statement’ went viral, former President Olusegun Obasanjo earlier today met incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari at the opening session of the 30th African Union Summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Recall that in last Tuesday’s letter, Obasanjo had urged Buhari not to seek a second term in office in 2019, saying the president had failed to meet the aspirations of Nigerians.
But when the duo met in Ethiopia, they did not allow that get between them as they reportedly shook hands and spoke for two minutes.
They were later joined by former Head of State, Abdulsalami Abubakar.
