A young child has been hit by stray bullet during the latest Boko Haram attack on Borno.
The suspected members of the Islamist Jihadist sect were reported to have raided Maiduguri on Wednesday evening heavily armed and firing gunshots.
Sahara Reporters noted that the terrorists according to eyewitnesses arrived in the city at around 7:00pm after attacking Giwa military barracks located on the outskirts of Maiduguri.
It was reported that the attack caused residents in the Jidari and Polo areas of Maiduguri to flee their homes after hearing gunfire.
Several persons were reportedly hit by stray bullets including a toddler.
