Top Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftains, including Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Governor Aminu Tambuwal and Senator Bukola Saraki, on Sunday graced the Fidau prayers for late Barr. Abdullahi Nyako, Atiku’s long-serving private secretary.
Nyako died Thursday in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Taking to Facebook, Atiku, who is the presidential candidate of the PDP, again mourned the loss of his confidante.
“This morning, I led members of my family and associates to the third day Fidau prayer for the late Abdullahi Nyako. May the Almighty Allah accept the repose of his soul. Amen,” Atiku wrote.
Similarly, Saraki prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased, while appealing to Allah to grant the bereaved family the fortitude to bear the loss.
“Earlier today, I joined Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and other well-wishers for the Fidau prayers held in honour of his aide, Mallam Abdullahi Nyako.
“I pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) grants late Nyako a place in Al Jannah Firdaus, and gives his family the fortitude to bear the loss. Amin,” Saraki wrote.
