The President received a delegation of Anglican Archbishops in Abuja led by the Most Reverend Nicholas Okoh, Primate Church of Nigeria.
The visit comes in the midst of trouble in the Niger Delta with Buhari having to cancel a trip to Rivers State and send VP Osinbajo in his stead.
The Niger Delta militants had threatened the President forcing the President to cancel his trip.
President Buhari is scheduled to embark on a one-day trip to Dakar, Senegal for the 49th Extra-Ordinary Summit of the ECOWAS on June 3, Friday.
