A Facebook user, Sony Neme, uploaded these pictures of the tomb at Amassoma built by late former Governor of Bayelsa State, Diepreye Alamieyeseigha, before his death on October 11.
Incumbent Governor of the state, Seriake Dickson visited the thumb on Thursday to assess the site for himself.
Alamieyesiegha who has been described as a hero of Niger Delta struggle, resource control and an albatross of ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo’s third-term bid, died of cardiac arrest.
The retired Air Force officer apparently foresaw his own death, or what would make a man build a tomb for himself while still alive?
