A young man who works as a delivery driver has just got himself into a £500,000 worth of trouble. He was on his delivery duties when he rammed into 4 parked Ferraris in the New City in Northern Taiwan.
The Sun Uk reports that the 20-year old man, known as Lin, was fast asleep behind the wheel while he was en route to deliver joss paper to be used for his mom’s business. After examining the worth of the damage caused, Lin would have to pay about £500,000 for repairs of all the four exotic cars.
He subsequently explained that he was extremely tired before he got into the car but still had to do so nonetheless. The Ferraris he hit with his bus includes three Ferrari 488s and one Ferrari F12, with a cumulative worth of about £1.3milllion.
Despite his poor background, Lin insisted that will pay as much as he can raise. The young man equally said that he is willing to take the responsibility that comes with the process of paying back what he owes.
After the incident went viral, a particular group known as the New Taipei’s Department of Social Welfare has been able to raise over £135,000 from 830 donations in a bid to support Lin.
