A photo of serving Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senator James Manager representing Delta South Senatorial District, kneeling before a former governor of Delta State, James Ibori, is currently making the rounds on social media.

Ibori was the governor of Delta from May 29, 1999, to May 29, 2007, on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Senator James Manager, 61-year-old is a 5-term Senator, elected to the National Assembly in 2003. By 2023, the man would have been in Senate for 20 years.
When James Onanefe Ibori, 62-years-old served as Governor of Delta State, James Manager was the State PDP Chairman.
The reason for his kneeling has however not been made public.
Former Delta State Governor James Ibori was convicted of money laundering in the UK in 2012.
