Nigerian billionaire, Femi Otedola and Chairman of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick today visited former Nigerian captain and Head Coach, Christian Chukwu in his London hospital.
The duo accompanied by Pinnick’s wife, Julie, were at the Wellington Hospital, Circus Road, St John’s Woods London, where Chukwu is presently undergoing treatment.
Recall that Otedola recently gifted Chukwu $50,000 (app. N18 million) to take care of his medical expenses.
Chukwu was flown to London on May 17, after he was diagnosed with an undisclosed illness that left him on a wheelchair.

“I am very happy with the efforts of the Nigeria Football Federation through the President, Mr. Amaju Melvin Pinnick. He has proved that he is truly father of Nigerian Football. I am also grateful for the support and prayers of other Nigerians.
“It is waist pain and stomach upset that I keep feeling. The doctors in Nigeria have treated the stomach upset and it remains the waist pain, but I am confident that I will come back to Nigeria having regained sound health,” Chukwu told NFF.
