The Governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Rivers State, Dr. Dakuku Peterside may incur the wrath of Supreme Court judges with his recent statements.
He has expressed his doubts that the Supreme Court ruling that gave victory to Governor Nyesom Wike of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, was a product of justice.
The governorship candidate who spoke yesterday in Port Harcourt, said: “It is obvious that the decision of the Supreme Court on the Rivers State election was not a product of justice but rather a product of compromise and orchestrated contrivance to legalise electoral violence and rigging and in turn reward injustice.”
He called on Governor Wike to stop what he described as insults directed at President Muhamadu Buhari.
According to Peterside, Wike during his thanksgiving service in Port Harcourt made disparaging comments on the Nigerian army.
“Wike must stop insulting Mr President and denigrating the Nigerian military,” he said.
He said that the APC was not demoralised because of its loss at the apex court, stressing that the party was ready for the rerun elections slated for March 19.
