Peter Okoye has reacted after Cynthia Morgan revealed how she fell out with her record label owned by his older brother, Jude Okoye who is the CEO of Northside Records.
Earlier on, Cynthia Morgan, during an Instagram live session with former Miss Globe Nigeria, Cassandra revealed how she lost her stage name, Instagram account, royalty and VEVO account due to the contract she signed with Jude Okoye and now battling depression.
According to the singer, she had dirts on Jude Okoye and would have won if she pushed further, but she decided at that time that it wasn’t necessary. She however became depressed thereafter and had to relocate to Benin in order to save cost for treatment of an illness that almost took her life.
Reacting to the live session, Peter Okoye came to Cynthia Morgan’s support, recalling how she rejected his contract because haters painted him in a bad light. He advised her to remain strong and assured her that the truth will prevail.
Peter Okoye tweeted: “My dear C Morgan, The decision i made 3yrs ago was never about the fame, money or power! It was for my FREEDOM!
Sad you rejected the contract i gave u. Just because they made you see me like the bad egg. I pray you understand that God has a purpose for everything. Never give up

The singer who disclosed that she doesn’t want to sign under a label anymore, said she is now open to partnership and hoping to stage a comeback.

A GoFundMe account has been launched by her fans who expressed sympathy over “all she went through” with the hashtag #BringBackCynthinaMorgan.
