Nigerian music sensation Peruzzi, born Tobechukwu Victor Okoh, has vehemently denied allegations circulating on social media, where a manipulated tweet claimed he accused his record label boss, Davido, of cutting ties due to an alleged affair with Chioma, Davido’s wife. Peruzzi took swift action, disowning the doctored screenshot and having it promptly deleted from his profile.
On Thursday, the perpetrator behind the false claims, Twitter user @belikebaddy, issued a public apology to both Peruzzi and Davido. The remorseful tweet read, “I apologize for posting an edited tweet which involved @peruzzi and @davido. I take full responsibility for all my actions have caused, and I promise it’ll never happen again. My apologies to DMW Management.”
Despite the apology, Peruzzi remains resolute in seeking justice. In response, he urged his followers to spread the word, stating, “Yall retweet this, so he can have money for court.” The artist further expressed his determination, stating, “God forgives, I do too. But not this time. F**k that,” indicating his unwavering commitment to pursuing legal action against the individual responsible for the fabricated tweet.
