#PEPTJudgement: ‘Expect Premium Tears From Obidients’ — Reno Omokri

A social critic, Reno Omokri has lampooned Peter Obi’s supporters otherwise known as Obidients as Nigerians they await the Presidential Election Tribunal verdict.

HeraldNG reports that Reno Omokri made this known via his official X page.

This online news platform understands that three cases challenging the outcome of the Feb.25 presidential election, will be delivered today, Wednesday, September 6, at the court complex, located at the Three Arms Zone, Shehu Shagari Way, Central Business District of Abuja.

The eagerly anticipated verdict is coming about a month after the court heard the closing arguments of parties to the petitions and about two weeks to the expiration of the statutory 180-day lifespans within which the cases filed in March must be heard and determined.

The five-member panel of the court headed by Haruna Tsammani had reserved judgements on the petitions after hearing the closing arguments of the parties to the cases in early August.

Speaking ahead of the likely outcome from the tribunal, Reno took to X saying, “Expect premium tears from Obidients in a few hours. Along with the tears, also anticipate maximum propaganda (the judges were bribed, etc.).

If you sell handkerchiefs and tissue papers, expect to profit from Obidients today”.
