Former Sunderland player, Adam Johnson has been set free from jail. However, he has been served with the notice that he cannot be in a private place with his daughter, Ayla, who is just four years old.
Adam, who is now 31 years old, had been sentenced to six years imprisonment and was not expected to be out until 2022.
He was accused and convicted for performing sexual activities on a minor.
But after spending just three years in HMP Moorland corrections center, he was released under some certain conditions.
Adam will be under a close watch by officers. A particular social worker has been assigned to monitor his activities whenever he decides to see his daughter. Besides, Adam would likely stay in a registered residence.
He is equally under the obligation to release his phones to officers at any point in time and could be sent back to prison if the officers notice any form of deletion without prior notification.
While talking to newsmen from The Sun, an individual connected to the case, stated, “Johnson will be treated like any other convicted sex offender. He’s a free man, but it comes at a heavy price.”
Daily Mail TV equally reported that he‘ll need to wait for another 15 years before he can submit an application to get him off the list of sex offenders.
