Chief Olisa Metuh has been ousted from his post as the national publicity secretary of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Dayo Adeyeye will be replacing Olisa Metuh as the national publicity secretary
This is coming as the party announced the portfolios assigned to the seven-member national caretaker committee of the party
The portfolios were announced on Thursday, June 9, at the maiden meeting of the staff of the party’s national secretariat and the Peoples Democratic Institute with the national caretaker committee.
A statement signed by head of publicity, Chinwe Nnorom, read: “The National Chairman of the Party, Senator Ahmed Makarfi, reiterated that the Committee will not exceed the period given to them by the National Convention to reorganize, reform and conduct a free, fair, credible and all inclusive National Convention.”
Ex-Senator Abdul Ningi will manage organization and mobilization, Odion Ogbesia will be in charge of finance, treasury, and audit while Kabir Usman was assigned the legal unit.
