The Peoples Democratic Party Gubernatorial Candidate in Lagos State, Jimi Agbaje has said that the party is highly interested in people’s development.
Agbaje reportedly made this statement while he visited the island communities of Ikaare-Ibeshe, Ido-Oluwo-Ile and Ilashe to commission some projects on behalf of President Goodluck Jonathan.
He said that the projects were not funded by the Lagos State government or the local government.
He urged Lagosians to carefully consider which party is interested in the peoples development. He said “What we have done today is in tandem with what we have always said, that if government neglects basic education, the life of the child cannot be straightened out.
“The fact is that without education, one will not attain a good standard of living. It is time for us to think very well which party is interested in the people’s development.”
