No fewer than 2, 654 delegates are voting in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship primaries in Kaduna State.
Mr. Philip Aivoji, the Chairman of the PDP Governorship Electoral Committee, made this known at Kaduna Trade Fair complex, venue of the primaries on Sunday.
Aivoji said that 10 Aspirants were in the race to pick the PDP governorship ticket to contest in the 2019 general elections.

Meanwhile, two of the aspirants, Dr Muhammed Sani Bello and Dr Jafaru Sa’ad have announced their withdrawal from the race.
While Sa’ad had formally announced his withdrawal in letter read by the electoral committee, Bello’s withdrewal was contained in a statement, made available to newsmen.
Other contenders still in the race are Murkhtar Ramalan Yero, former Governor of the state, Sen. Suleiman Hunkuyi, Malam Sani Sidi, Alhaji Bello Umar Kagarko, Shuaibu Idris, Jonathan Kish and Isah Ashiru.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the process is going on peacefully with security agents stationed at strategic point to maintain law and order.
