The People’s Democratic Party (PDP), have issued a statement responding to APC leader, Bola Tinubu’s, statement regarding Atiku Abubakar.
The Presidential aspirant held a meeting with key stakeholders in Dubai as he steps up preparations to contest for the Presidency next year.
When asked about Atiku and his plans, Tinubu was dismissive stating that no one cared where Atiku held his meetings and that regardless of what he would try to do, there is no way he will win the elections come next year.
In their own reaction, PDP stated that an elder statesman like the former Lagos governor should not indulge in such things against Atiku

“Asiwaju (Tinubu), as an elder, should not reduce his pedigree by engaging in indecorous utterances which have become the trademark of his party.
“It is also instructive to state that a person of Asiwaju (Tinubu) status can conduct his political activities without recourse to indecent language that is lacking in respect for a personality, such as Atiku, whom Nigerians, across the board, have generally resolved to be their next President”, the statement read
The statement continued stating that the PDP remains committed to bettering the lives of Nigerians and solving the nation’s myriad of problems.
“The repositioned PDP and our presidential candidate remain committed to our promise to focus on solutions to the myriad of problems facing our people and transform their lives for the better”.
