The opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has accused the All Progressives Congress-led Federal Government of deception in the much-awaited Presidential Media Chat scheduled to kick off at 7pm Nigeria Time.
Recall that the presidency had earlier in the week announced a plan to hold a presidential media chat on Wednesday.
According to the Director of Social Media for the PDP, Mr. Deji Adeyanju, there was intelligence reports at his disposal to the effect that the media chat had been pre-recorded and edited before the time, and would be passed off as “live” to unsuspecting Nigerians.
Adeyanju said that he had reasons to believe that the president may not be able to sufficiently deal with the questions that would be thrown at him “on a live program”.
In a couple of tweets on his Twitter handle, he stated…
1. Intel available to me suggest that the Presidential Media Chat is being pre-recorded & edited right now as against live broadcast.

2. The fear is president Buhari might not be able to sufficiently answer all the questions that might be thrown at him on a live program.
