The comeback story of Manchester United Midfielder has been a sweet and sour story of uncertainties and misinformation which leaves little to desire of the management ranks at Old Trafford. Little wonder the Frenchman’s representative blasted the same management earlier in the week.
Paul Pogba whose limp return from injury has left him out the starting 11 for several games already is now reportedly going into the operating theatre soon and will be out for another “three or four weeks”.
“We’ve had scans and it’s nothing major, but it’s something that has to be dealt with,” said Solskjaer.
“He’s been advised to do it [the operation] as soon as and we will probably do it as soon as, so he will be out for three or four weeks.
“It’s a big blow because Paul is out now and Scott [McTominay] is also injured – he is out for a few months.
“We just hope that Paul can come back in a month-ish. But if Fred and Nemanja [Matic] played like they did today I will be happy.”
Pogba has only managed 8 games this season having been sidelined by an injury to an ankle injury for which he underwent surgery in the autumn.
The former Juventus Midfielder was a no show for Manchester United’s loss away at Arsenal yesterday.
