Veteran Nollywood actor Patrick Doyle has criticized Davido’s outfit during his visit to the Olu of Warri’s palace, calling it “inappropriate” for a royal visit. This comes after Davido performed at the ‘Warri Again’ concert in Delta, following a year-long dispute with Amaju Pinnick, former president of the Nigeria Football Federation.
Davido had joined Pinnick, singer Phyno, comedian AY Makun, and Cubana Chief Priest on a courtesy visit to the monarch before his performance. Doyle, a native of Delta State, questioned Davido’s attire, sparking controversy.
It’s worth noting that Davido has been facing criticism lately, with Wizkid even calling him “talentless” in a recent post. However, Davido seems to be moving forward, resolving his dispute with Pinnick and delivering a successful performance at the ‘Warri Again’ concert.
