The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Pakistan has risen to 103,671 with 2,067 deaths, according to the data updated by the country’s Health Ministry on Monday.

The country currently has 67,249 active cases and 34,355 people have recovered from the disease.
The mortality rate of the COVID-19 infected patients in Pakistan is around two per cent and the recovery rate is 33.1 per cent, the official statistics revealed.
A total of 4,728 new cases were reported during the last 24 hours with 65 deaths in the same period.
East Punjab province is the worst hit with 38,903 confirmed cases, followed by south Sindh province where 38,108 cases were reported.
The northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province reported 13,487 cases, with 575 deaths.
At least, 6,516 cases have been reported in southwest Balochistan province, 5,329 in the capital city Islamabad and 932 in north Gilgit-Baltistan region.
Punjab has recorded 715 highest deaths so far, followed by Sindh where 650 infected people have lost their lives, the statistics said.
It added that Pakistan has conducted 705,833 tests officially so far.
A total of 22,650 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Health, Zafar Mirza, had said on Sunday that the government has decided to strictly monitor the implementation of the standard operating procedures issued to protect people against COVID-19.
Talking to reporters in Islamabad, Mirza said wearing face masks is mandatory and no leniency will be tolerated in this regard.
