Ismail Omipidan, the spokesperson to former Governor of Osun, Adegboyega Oyetola has described the claim by Governor Senator Ademola Adeleke, that his predecessor employed 12, 000 workers as not only false but unfounded.
Omipidan said this in a statement on Monday.
Recall that in a statement signed by Olawale Rasheed, his Chief Press Secretary, Governor Adeleke issued six executive orders reversing appointments made by Oyetola, including appointments of 12, 000 workers and the installation of three traditional rulers.
However, Oyetola’s media aide challenged the Adeleke-led government to publish the list of the purported 12, 000 workers, asking, “What is the entire workforce of the state?”
Omipidan reminded the government that, “Once a lie is told, you need a one and thousand lies to cover it up.
“In no distant future, the people of Osun will know who the real liars are.”
