The Dutch have taken at least 100 rebellious Lille fans into custody ahead of UEFA Champions League set to begin today. French club, Lille will be playing against Ajax. Nigerian player, Victor Osimhen plays for the French club.
According to the Amsterdam Police, the fans were arrested for “disturbing the public order”
The Lille fans were taken into custody at a station which is very close to the Johan Cruyff Arena just few hours before the Group H match begins.
“Around 100 Lille supporters have been arrested in connection with disturbing the public order, setting off fireworks and violence,” Amsterdam police said in a tweet.

Club supporters were seen walking along the metro lines, which forced Officials to bring traffic to a stand still. The police cleared out two stations for a while, as reported by the ANP National News Agency.
