Some members of the exco in Tudun Wada ward of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Kaduna have denied any participation in the suspension of Senator Shehu Sani (Kaduna central) from the party.
Several senior ward leaders are reported by online medium, Premium Times, to have said their signatures on the document suspending Sani from the party for a period of 11 months were forgeries.
A senior aide to Mr. Sani, Suleiman Ahmed in reaction to the publication said some elements in the APC were colluding with Governor Nasir elRufai to try and muzzle Mr. Sani.
He added that there was no way to stop Mr. Sani from airing his views about the “anti-people policies of the elRufai administration.”
