The legal team of IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu says it will now push for the release of the detained separatist leader from detention.
A member of the legal team, Aloy Ejimakor stated this in a tweet on Tuesday.
Recall that the Department of State Services (DSS) did not produce Kanu in court for commencement of his trial on Monday.
The trial judge, Justice Binta Nyako had rebuked the secret police and refused to commence trial until the defendant was produced in court.

In a tweet on Tuesday, Ejimakor stated that, “To the multitudes asking me the way forward after the hearing yesterday, below is the answer:
“The very next step is to pursue the release of His Excellency from detention through the coordinated steps of the Legal Team in Nigeria & UK. We intend to succeed, sooner than later.”
