Osundairo brother sexually linked with Jussie Smollett

2 Min Read

One of the Nigerian brothers in the Jussie Smollet saga has been accused of having a sexual relationship with the actor.

Page Six quoted an unnamed source as saying that Ambimbola “Abel” Osundairo had a sexual relationship with the embattled actor and visited a popular Chicago bathhouse together on multiple occasions.

The bathhouse is believed to be frequented by affluent black gay men in Chicago.

Recall that the 37-year-old actor claimed he was attacked by two masked men in the city back in January 2019, claiming his attackers poured bleach on him, tied a noose around his neck and shouted racist and homophobic slurs.

Abel and Ola Osundairo have been fingered in the alleged hoax attack on the Empire actor, for which he is being prosecuted.

The source said, “They used to party together and he had a sexual relationship with [Abel].

“They went to this affluent Chicago bathhouse multiple times and they had to show ID. It’s known as a bathhouse where a lot of affluent black gay men hang out. There should be a record [of their visits].”

According to the source, this record could be subpoenaed when Smollett’s felony disorder conduct charges get to court.

The Osundairo brothers claimed that the actor paid them $3,500 to stage the attack on him in a bid to boost his public profile.

However, the actor denied he conspired with the brothers to stage the attack, saying he only paid them the money for performance-enhancing drugs.

When the actor’s lawyers, Tina Glandian and Mark Geragos, in 2019 hinted of a sexual relationship between their client and one of the brothers, the Osundairos sued them.

According to the brothers, the lawyers’ accusation put them and their family members at risk in their native Nigeria, where homosexuality is legally and morally censured.

A court dismissed the lawsuit in March.
