” All these effort by the state government is to ensure that the state has abundant food for its citizenry,” he said.

Babaranti also said that the state government through the agency recently gave N2.2 million in loans to tomato farmers in the state.

He said government was also planning to give to give loans to cocoa farmers in the state.

Beneficiaries of the loan commended the state government and Osun Microcredit Agency for their support to farmers in the state.

Mr Jemilohun Olawale, one of the beneficiaries, said his group would ensure that the loan was not diverted for personal purpose.
