The Governor of Osun State, Adegboyega Oyetola, has extended the lockdown placed on the state by 14 days.
This was disclosed by the governor on Tuesday in a live broadcast transmitted throughout the state.
Governor Otedola had placed Osun State on total lockdown on March 29, in effort to contain the spread of Coronavirus pandemic.
He however extended the lockdown, stating that it was a necessary development as the number of Coronavirus cases Nigeria has been on the increase.

Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday, extended the lockdown order on Lagos, Ogun and Abuja for another 14 Days.
The President disclosed this development during a live broadcast on Monday.
