Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has urged Nigerians to raise their children and wards in the fear of God.
Osinbajo gave this charge at the wedding of Barrister Nguuma Uja and Engineer Abel Gbuusu, which held at the Jerusalem Mission House International in Makurdi, Benue State on Saturday.
He said the good way the bride turned out was a testament to the proper upbringing given her by her parents, Evangelist Tor Uja and his wife, Berry Uja.
He added that Godly upbringing would afford the children the opportunity to bring honour to her family.
Osinbajo said that with the present crop of leaders at the helm in Benue state and the federal level, things were bound to change for the better.
Also speaking at the occasion, the State Governor, Samuel Ortom, echoed the views of the acting president, adding that mutual love and respect was the key to maintaining a peaceful home and raising good children.
He equally urged the couple to make Christ the foundation of their home, which if added to love and respect would solidify their home front.
In his exhortation, Bishop Francis Wale Oke of the Spirit Life Ministries urged women to submit to their husbands as the head of the family, and enjoined men to treasure their wives.
