Nigeria’s Acting President, Yemi Osinabajo, has, Thursday, signed an executive bill seeking to back the implementation of the Voluntary Assets and Income Declaration Scheme (VAIDS).
The Acting President signed the bills, designed by Ministry of Finance, to ensure that the scheme is fully backed by tenets of the law.
It was gathered that the executive bill would help the payment of tax and also punish liable offenders after a stipulated nine-month grace period.
