Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole has yesterday signed into law the Edo State’s N116.6 billion Appropriation Bill.
Defending the Appropriation Bill, he gave a breakdown of the budget as N57.1 billion budgeted for recurrent expenditure while N59.5 billion is ear marked for capital projects.
Expressing his satisfaction at the successful passage into law of the Appropriation Bill, the Governor stated that his administration had laid a solid foundation for the on coming administration to build upon.
The Governor also expressed optimism that the next Governor of the state, one who will be from the All Progressive Congress will be one who shares his vision for the state and continue the developmental projects already implemented.
