A former Minister of Niger Delta affairs, Godsday Orubebe, has been found guilty by the Code of Conduct Tribunal for false asset declaration.
Danladi Umar, heading the tribunal that made this declaration, also declared that the asset exempted from his declaration will be seized by the court.
The asset in question land situated in plot 2057, Asokoro district, Abuja was acquired very close to the end of his tenure but was not declared.
Mr. Umar in his ruling said; “I hereby seize, on behalf of the federal government, the property known as plot 2057.”
