The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi (Ọjájá II), on Wednesday, paid a courtesy visit to former President Muhammadu Buhari at his residence in Daura, Katsina State.
The visit was disclosed by Ahmad Bashir, a former media aide to the ex-president, who shared photos of the meeting on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
Bashir revealed that before departing Daura, the Ooni and his entourage accompanied Buhari to the Emir’s Palace in the historic town.
“Today, Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi (Ọjájá II), was in Daura with his entourage to visit former President Muhammadu Buhari,” Bashir captioned the photos. “Before leaving Daura, the former president led the Ooni of Ife and his entourage to the historic Daura Emir’s Palace.”
